If you've been on internet the last week or so, you have surely come across stories and videos of people pouring ice water over themselves as part of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Done to create awareness about a disease known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), we've seen big names – including former US President George W. Bush and Apple's Tim Cook – drench themselves with the ice-cold water, and now, Samsung has published a video that shows the Galaxy S5 taking the Ice Bucket Challenge and very smartly (and funnily) promotes how the device is waterproof. We've already seen Samsung promote the battery life on the Galaxy S5 in clever ways, and this is another example of the company taking a trend and using it to its advantage to promote a particular product.
