Samsung India's Media Solutions Centre division has unveiled Club Samsung 2.0 for Galaxy branded devices including smartphones and tablets. Club Samsung, which was introduced in December last year, is a service similar to that of Samsung Hub which offers music, movies, videos and TV shows to Samsung Galaxy users in India. The speciality of Club Samsung is that it is created in India and takes care of the needs of Indian users by offers over content from over 90 TV channels in various Indian languages. The service also comes with improved the discovery feature which now auto populates the user's playlist with content based on their mood, language or location. It also features a “unified player” which can play both, online and offline content.
This service will be available for download as an app on Galaxy App Store starting September 30 and will initially work with 14 devices. Samsung is working on expanding the service to 33 more devices within a few months. The users can log in to the service using a Samsung account which means that they can access the content associated with that account in five different Galaxy devices.
