Samsung doesn't want to talk about corporate diversity like everyone else, through an elaborate presentation or a set of documents that show what the status of diversity and accessibility programs is within its workforce. No, Samsung is doing something different. It has come up with a rap video.
The company has hired Mad Clown, a Korean rapper, to spit out some rhymes about its sustainability stats which sounds as cringeworthy as this sentence makes it out to be. But when you've got lyrics like “Samsung, we 280,000 humans, 40 percent 112,000 women” its on a whole other level.
Kudos to Samsung for thinking out the box, but rap is probably not the best way to talk about this.
