In a series of latest video commercials, Samsung has highlighted the advantages of the Galaxy Tab Active being used by professionals in various work environments such as healthcare, law enforcement, logistics, and construction. The Galaxy Tab Active, which is a ruggedised version of the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, was announced for business in September. It is IP67-certified for water- and dust-resistance. It can withstand under 1 meter of water up to 30 minutes. Thanks to the included protective cover, the device can take a beating, and can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.2 meters. It features an 8-inch WXGA LCD display accompanied by a C-Pen stylus, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB on-board storage, microSD card slot, and a 4,450 mAh battery. There's a 3.15-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus and LED flash, which is also capable of recording HD videos, and a 1.2-megapixel camera on the front.
