The latest version of Google's smartphone operating system, Android 5.0 Lollipop brings full compatibility with 64-bit processors, thanks to ART. To make full use of this feature, various smartphone brands are working on devices with 64-bit processors. Now, a new smartphone from Samsung has been revealed in benchmarks which uses a 64-bit processor. Guys over at GalaxyClub.nl have discovered an unannounced smartphone from Samsung bearing a model number SM-J100F in GFXBench. According to the information available on the website, the device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Marvell Armada PXA1908 SoC, 1GB RAM, and 4GB ROM. The Armada PXA1908 SoC from Marvell features four Cortex A53 CPU cores with 64-bit processing abilities, Vivante GC7000UL GPU, and 4G LTE connectivity.
The device features a 4.8-inch WVGA display, a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and 1080p video recording. Just like the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5, the leaked device features a 5-megapixel secondary camera with 1080p video recording. It appears that the device is currently running Android 4.4.4 KitKat, but Samsung will most probably release it with Android 5.0 Lollipop if it wants to take full advantage of the 64-bit processor inside it.
