A variant of the Samsung's upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A7 has been spotted at the FCC certification. The Galaxy A7 (SM-A700H) has passed through FCC certification on December 3 with the FCC ID A3LSMA700H. Unlike the Galaxy A7 SM-A700FD), which was spotted last week with 4G LTE connectivity onboard, the SM-A700H features dual-band W-CDMA connectivity, Bluetooth v4.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n. As per the earlier leaks about the device, the Galaxy A7 might feature a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor running in AArch32 mode, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, microSD card slot, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It might also feature a 12-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device has also been certified by the Wi-Fi alliance and it is expected that the device might be announced soon.
The Galaxy A7 is a part of Samsung's new A series of smartphones with slim bodies, premium materials, Super AMOLED screens and high-resolution front-facing cameras. Samsung has already announced the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5.
