Samsung is giving one of its best-looking smartphones ever an attractive makeover in France with the Galaxy Alpha Limited Edition Free Lance Bordeaux. The custom variant comes with four tailor-made leather back covers designed in collaboration with Free Lance and Jean-Baptiste Rautureau (a fashion brand and artist, respectively), of which only 100 units will be produced. That makes the device limited in the truest sense of the word, and each unit will be numbered and signed with a certificate of authenticity.
In terms of features, this is the same device that debuted Samsung's new metallic design language. You will get a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos 5430 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel rear camera, 32GB of non-expandable storage, fingerprint and heart rate sensors, a 1,860mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The limited edition will be priced at €649, and will probably not make it to any other markets.
