CES 2015: Schedule of Samsung keynotes and events

The Consumer Electronics Show is kicking off once again and it promises to be bigger than ever. Samsung will be showcasing its latest latest and greatest wares at the event, starting from smart home appliances to wearable devices and televisions. The event will be filled with events by various brands and it's easy to get lost and miss out on the important stuff. So we'll be making it easier for all the Samsung fans and enthusiasts with the schedule of all the events related to the South Korean consumer electronics giant.

Samsung Event: 2:00PM Pacific Time

Apart from showcasing the Galaxy S6 and its variants to its partners, it is being expected that Samsung's primary focus for CES 2015 would be its Smart Home platform. After snapping up the IoT startup SmartThings for $200 million last year, Samsung is eager to showcase its innovation in the smart home, IoT, and wearable categories. We're expecting to hear important announcements from Alex Hawkins, CEO of SmartThings, about how Samsung is planning to connect every single device to enrich our lives and experiences.

Samsung S UHD TV

Samsung will also announce several new 4K TVs, PCs, laptops, washing machines, and other devices, but the most important announcement could be Samsung's new Tizen-based S' UHD TV. We are not sure if the TV is based on Quantum Dot technology, but Samsung claims it to be the “most seductive TV of all time” featuring Quantum colors, curved design, 4K resolution, and excellent brightness. Samsung might also showcase Tizen-based TVs with Sony's PlayStation Now game streaming service built in.

Samsung Keynote: 6:30PM Pacific Time

During Samsung's keynote at CES 2015, there's a greater chance that Samsung Electronics' CEO Boo-Keun Yoon, will talk about the future of the company and where it is headed.

If you remember, Michael Bay had a meltdown onstage during Samsung's keynote where he was supposed to introduce the company's curved 105-inch smart UHD TV, after which, he left the stage. We hope that Samsung won't face any meltdowns moments during its announcements at the CES this year.

Can’t get Daily Board to work on your Samsung TV? Try this

Daily Board is a Samsung smart TV feature that lets you see information at a glance, write quick notes, and control smart devices. It's all done through widgets and might be the most One UI-looking element on Smart TVs since the Tizen 8 update rolled out. But what if you can't get it to work? […]

Q-Symphony is one of the most genius Samsung ideas ever

Q-Symphony must be one of my favorite ideas and technologies Samsung came up with in recent years. I didn't think much of it initially, but now I think it's pure genius. It's the kind of technology that makes you wonder why nobody else thought about it before. Well, now Sony is copying it. What is […]
