Samsung has started rolling out the Android Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 3 in Russia, in a move that is sure to disappoint those that have purchased the Galaxy Note 4 and have been expecting to be the first to get the sugary version of Android. The build number for the update is N900XXUEBOA6, and you can expect to see all the Lollipop related features that we previewed exclusively on video last year, like a redesigned interface, better performance, heads-up and lockscreen notifications, and more.
Be sure to keep your Galaxy Note 3 connected to a Wi-Fi network so that the update's notification shows up as quickly as it can, or just check for the update yourself from the Settings » About phone » Software update menu. Or, you can always download the full firmware from our firmware section and flash it manually to get in on the Lollipop action right away.
