According to a new report from Reuters, Samsung is investing around $3.6 billion to build a brand new display manufacturing facility which will produce small and medium sized flexible OLED display panels, which will mostly be used in smartphones and tablets. The plant is expected to be operational within the next two years, and will supply display panels for Samsung's own mobile devices as well as to other clients. It is being speculated that this new display manufacturing facility will be used to satisfy a demand for smartphones with curved displays such as the Galaxy Note Edge. However, all the recent leaks, rumours, and reports point towards a possibility of Samsung releasing a dual-sided curved edge display variant of the Galaxy S6, which might be named as the Galaxy S6 Edge.
