For the past few months Samsung has steadily been releasing the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for many of its smartphones. It's done with most high-end devices. Many of the company's mid-range devices are compatible but so far Samsung has not provided the update roadmap for them. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is one such device. Samsung France has confirmed today that the Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is in the pipeline. In response to a query from someone on Twitter the official Samsung France account tweeted that the Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be released sometime later in 2015.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is basically a toned down version of the Galaxy Note 3. It has a 5.5-inch 720p display, an Exynos 5260 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard memory with microSD card support, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and a 3,100mAh battery. The design is quite similar to the high-end phablet and it even has the faux leather back of the Galaxy Note 3.
@badrteffahioff La mise à jour Lollipop sera effectivement déployée sur #GalaxyNote3Neo dans le courant de l'année ! 🙂
