Samsung today announced a trio of curved PC monitors that are aggressively priced to cater to the mainstream consumer market, they start at just $299. These new models come after Samsung showed off its flagship curved PC monitor at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 earlier this year. The SE510C, SE591C and SE590C monitors are available in 23.6-, 287 and 31.-inch sizes, all three models have 1080p panels and they are priced at $299.99, $399.99 and $599.99 respectively.
The curvature of these monitors ranges from 3000R (SE590C) to 4000R (SE591C and SE510C) and boast static contrast ratios of up to 5,000:1. Eye Saver Mode and Flicker Free features are present. The Eye Saver Mode decreases the monitors’ harmful blue light that often causes eye fatigue, whereas Flicker Free technology shields the eyes from strain of flickering screens that plagues many conventional monitors. The SE591C and SE590C both have two 5W built-in dual stereo speakers with Samsung's proprietary dual sound engine. Samsung will bring all three curved PC monitors to market starting next month.
