Japan's NTT DoCoMo today announced that it will be offering the Galaxy S6 edge to its customers who can start placing pre-orders from today. Despite the fact that there's one major difference in this variant almost all of the other specifications remain the same. The handset has the exact same dual-edge display that you'll find in your variant as well as the same processor and RAM combination. The only difference is support for LTE-Advanced which can provide speeds of up to 225 Mbps through carrier aggregation. WiMax 2+ support is also present in this variant.
The carrier is offering the device in 64GB storage option in either gold or green color only. Customers who pre-order a device from NTT DoCoMo will also receive a wireless charging pad for the Galaxy S6 edge free, this promotional campaign is actually being run by many of Samsung's carrier partners across the globe.
