Samsung's latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge, are now available for purchase, at least in 20 countries around the world. As always, Samsung has released kernel source code for both these devices, and if you are a developer/tinkerer/custom ROM developer, you might be interested in downloading the kernel source.
The kernel source is currently available on Samsung Open Source Release Center for the following devices:
- • SM-G920F
- • SM-G920K
- • SM-G920L
- • SM-G920S
- • SM-G920T_NA
- • SM-G925F
- • SM-G925K
- • SM-G925L
- • SM-G925S
- • SM-G925T_NA
Earlier this week, first firmware files for these devices hit our firmware database, and you can download them through our firmware section. However, this still doesn't mean that AOSP ROMs will come out soon as the problem lies with the lack of proper documentation for Exynos chipsets.
