It appears that Samsung is airing a new TV commercial every other day for its latest flagship devices that hit shelves on April 10. We've seen one that highlights peoples' anticipation to see what's next from Samsung and another which stars British comedian James Corden explaining his alter ego director Wilf Meltson about the Galaxy S6's fast charging feature. The TVC that Samsung aired today puts the spotlight on wireless charging which the new handsets support straight out of the box, and British singer Rita Ora is in the commercial as well.
As the commercial rolls we see Ora walk into a studio to record some music, she finds out that her Galaxy S6 is out of juice so she places it on a wireless charging pad. The TVC runs for less than a minute during which we cut to the Galaxy S6 multiple times as it progressively charges wirelessly. Don't be fooled, wireless charging isn't that fast, the small print at the bottom of the ad points out that much. It reads that to go from 0% to 100% one would need to place the Galaxy S6 on a wireless charging pad for 180 minutes, that's three hours. If you don't have that much time it would be better to use the fast charger that comes with every Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge unit.
