A new Samsung announcement brings us an exciting successor to last year's Galaxy Folder and a worthy competitor to LG's recently announced G Gentle. There are many notable changes this year and it's going to be very affordable when it's released in South Korea next month.
Samsung never quite gave up on flip phones. Every year they release some new devices and last year we had the Galaxy Folder with a resolution of 480×800, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.2.2 on it. A lot of people prefer flip phones because they are very ergonomic, very resistant and their battery life is amazing.
Now we're looking at a successor for the Galaxy Folder which is pretty good. The phone is very convenient to use because you have both a keypad as well as a touchscreen, plus it will run Android Lollipop. It features an F2.2 aperture and it's all powered by a huge 1,800mAh battery which is more than enough for its 3.8-inch display. The device will be available starting next month at around $250 but there's not much hope to see it on other markets than Korea. You'll also only find it in two color options: dark blue and white.
