After starting the pre-orders for the Galaxy Tab S2 in the US yesterday, Samsung is ready to launch its high-end tablets in Canada next month. Samsung will start selling the 9.7-inch and as well as 8.0-inch screen variants of the Galaxy Tab S2 in the country starting September 16.
The Wi-Fi only variants of the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 will be priced at $499.99 (CAD) and $599.99 (CAD) respectively. LTE variants of these tablets will also be available through all the major carriers in the country including Bell, Rogers, and Telus. These carriers haven't disclosed the prices, but the pre-orders have begun today. If you pre-order before September 15, you'll get a discount of 50 percent on the Galaxy Tab S2 Book Cover.
The Galaxy Tab S2 comes in two screen size variants, 9.7-inch and 8.0-inch, and features a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB RAM, 32/64GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop-based TouchWiz UI, an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, a 2-megapixel camera upfront, and fingerprint sensors.
