In case you haven’t heard, Samsung is moving forward with its homegrown operating system. Skipping a Z2, Samsung is soon to bring the Z3 to market as its second-generation Tizen-powered smartphone. The latest information we have concerns the Samsung Z3 and Bluetooth certification after the Z3 received FCC certification.
Bluetooth 4.1, the latest Bluetooth update, is on board with the upcoming smartphone that bears the model number SM-Z300F, but the Bluetooth certification also presents us with some other news: the Samsung Z3 will run Tizen 3.0, not Tizen 2.0 as some have reported in the past. Other specs include a 5-inch, HD display with 1280 x 720p screen resolution, a 1.3Ghz, quad-core Spreadtrum processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5MP front camera, 8AMP back camera, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi (no 802.11ac), 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, and a 2,600mAh battery – just as we said earlier.
Lastly, the Z3 will have Gear S2 support, so Z3 buyers may want to consider picking up Samsung's upcoming smartphone and smartwatch, all in one swoop.
