The Gear S2 is a beautiful smartwatch with a brilliant method of navigation through the bezel ring. But while the bezel is an amazingly accurate way to navigate through the Gear S2's software, taking a screenshot isn't something that can be done using the bezel. But in case you were wondering, the Gear S2 does support a screenshot function like Samsung's Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
How, you ask? Well, it's simple:
- Get the app or screen you want to take a screenshot of on your Gear S2's display.
- Now, hold the back/menu button (that's the button at the bottom right of the watch), then swipe on the display from left to right with your thumb (or any other finger that you can reach the screen with while you're pressing that button.)
- That's it – your screenshot will be saved in the gallery.
Pretty intuitive, right? Taking a screenshot on a smartwatch using buttons might sound hard, but Samsung's implementation on the Gear S2 is extremely simple. Go try it out on your Gear S2, and let us know if you run into any problems.
