Samsung has released some excluded evidence to press that tries to prove Samsung didn't infringe on Apple's patents. The evidence is referred to as “excluded” because Samsung was denied to put forth this argument and has unsurprisingly, made the judge livid. The evidence shows how Apple iPhone's design was inspired by Sony and number of Samsung phones that were already in development prior to the launch of iPhone.
“The excluded evidence would have established beyond doubt that Samsung did not copy the iPhone design,” says Samsung in a statement.
Meanwhile, judge Lucy Koh has ordered lawyer representing Samsung to know who from the legal team gave an authority to release the evidence to the press.
