After its press conference at CES 2016, Samsung quietly announced its third Chrome OS-based laptop. Dubbed Chromebook 3, the laptop comes with a reinforced metal body and weighs just 1.3kg. Samsung claims that the Chromebook 3 lasts upto 11 hours after a complete charge. There's no information on its pricing yet, but it will be available sometime in this quarter.
It features a 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, an Intel Celeron N3050 processor, either 2GB or 4GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, gigabit Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, a USB 3.0 port, and a spill-resistant keyboard. The company says that it recognised the demand for Chromebooks when they were first launched in 2011, and the demand has only increased in recent times.
