Samsung today announced the launch of a new TV in China that's QQ-enabled. QQ is one of China's most popular messaging services. The new TV was unveiled at the Samsung China Forum held on March 2-3 in Shanghai. It provides users with full access to QQ messenger allowing them to chat and share media with family and friends.
The company also introduced the Family TV feature to help users with visual and hearing impairments better enjoy watching TV. Family TV will help them adjust the picture and audio quality and enlarge the font size so that it's more accessible and suitable to their preferences. Samsung also showcased some of the SUHD TV models it launched earlier this year, many home appliances and other smart technologies. “We intend to turn Samsung into a more popular brand in China by actively communicating with local consumers and strengthening our cooperation with business partners in the country,” said Kyung Tae Bae, executive vice president and the head of Samsung China.
