Just in time for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge's retail availability, firmware for the new Samsung flagships are available for download from the SamMobile firmware database. All the firmware are based on Android 6.0.1, and over the next few days, you should be able to find S7 and S7 edge firmware for every region. For those unaware, device firmware are useful for flashing back to stock software should the need arise, and for manually upgrading to a new software version.
They can also be used to extract goodies like ringtones, wallpapers and other system files (the wallpapers from the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge were leaked ahead of the devices' official launch).
