Galaxy S10 series gets December 2022 security update

Over the past week, Samsung has released the December 2022 security update to the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, and the Galaxy S21. Now, the company has started rolling out its newest security update to the Galaxy S10 series, which includes three high-end smartphones.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ comes with firmware version G97xFXXSGHVL1. The new update is currently available in various European countries, including Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the Nordic region.

The December 2022 security patch included in the Galaxy S1o's new software update is designed to fix as many as 93 security vulnerabilities found in Samsung phones. The update might also include general bug fixes and stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy S10 series user residing in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. The Galaxy S10 series is currently on Samsung's quarterly software update schedule.
