Cricket Wireless has announced today that its customers can now pick up the Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime. It's a 5-inch smartphone powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with support for 4G LTE. The handset is aimed at the budget minded consumer and has thus been released for an affordable price on a prepaid network.
The Galaxy Amp Prime features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display as well as advanced software features like Easy Mode and Ultra Power Savings Mode. The handset can be purchased online and from more than 3,800 Cricket Wireless stores across the United States for $149.99. Cricket Wireless is also going to sell the Galaxy Amp 2, an entry-level 4G LTE handset which has a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display and similar software features. The Galaxy Amp 2 will be available from Cricket Wireless stores and online for $99.99.
