Owners of the Tizen-powered Samsung Z1 located in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka have woken up to a notification prompting them to install a hefty firmware update today. The upgrade, which carries the build number Z130HDDU0CPD6, brings a plethora of bug fixes, stability improvements and speed optimisations to the handset, in addition to compatibility for WhatsApp Call, Call Recording and Ultra Data Saving Mode (UDSM).

If, for whatever reason, you have not received an alert instructing you to install the updated software on your handset, you can manually initiate the procedure by heading into Settings, followed by About Device, tapping Software Update, then hitting Check for Updates. The upgrade will then start to automatically download and install from Samsung's servers.
