Samsung's TouchWiz user interface evokes a love-hate relationship amongst consumers. There's no in between. You either leave it installed on your handset or install a third-party launcher the second you take it out of the box to minimize contact with the UI. However, ever since the Theme Store made its way to the South Korean company's latest handsets, it's easier than ever to plaster a stock Android skin over the South Korean company's overlay.
There's one theme in particular we'd recommend you use in order to grace your device with Material goodness. It's simply called “Android 6.0 Marshmallow” and can be downloaded by plugging that exact term into the search bar in the Theme Store. It provides your device with a whole new lease of life, giving the default Settings screen, App Drawer, notification panel and navigation panels a fresh new feel that former Nexus users will find familiar.
If you're having trouble finding this specific theme, do be sure to let us know in the comments section below or over on our Twitter page, and we’ll do our very best to get you back on the right track.
