AT&T formally announced the Galaxy S7 Active earlier this month after weeks of rumors and leaks. The handset was Samsung's worst kept secret before it was unveiled so there really wasn't anything left to find out about it except for the pricing and availability details. Customers in the United States can now purchase the Galaxy S7 Active from AT&T. The handset is available exclusively from the second largest carrier in the country in Titanium Gray, Camo Green, and Sandy Gold colors.
The Galaxy S7 Active has specifications similar to the regular Galaxy S7, it does have a rather impressive 4,000mAh battery and MIL STD-810G protection against bumps, drops, and the elements. No wonder Samsung is targeting field workers with this rugged smartphone. Interested customers can either pay $794.99 upfront and buy the handset or pay $26.50 per month for 30 months on A&T Next plan or $33.13 per month for 24 months on AT&T Next Every Year plan. The Galaxy S7 Active can be purchased from AT&T online and through the carrier's retail stores.
