Samsung has been testing the Tizen-based Z2 for quite a while. It was first reported to be in the works last year and was expected to be unveiled sometime in the second half of 2015, but it was delayed. The Samsung Z2 received Bluetooth certification two weeks ago, and it could be released in India early next month.
Now, we've now received information that the Samsung Z2 might launch with an all-new My Money Transfer app for Indian users. Using the app, users can transfer money to and from their bank accounts anytime anywhere. The app can also be used to check account balance and recent transactions. Moreover, it would work without an Internet connection. However, it would only work for accounts that have been enabled for Internet banking.
Users can add beneficiaries just like they can in their bank accounts to transfer money to others. The app would be compatible with most Indian banks, including big ones like Axis, ICICI, HDFC, SBI, and Yes Bank, as well as regional ones like Andhra Bank, Karnataka Bank, Punjab National Bank, and Vijaya Bank.
The Samsung Z2 is expected to feature a 4-inch display, LTE connectivity, S Bike Mode, and a more responsive version of Voice Control. Not much is known about the processor and camera resolution of the device right now, but we'll let you know as soon as we receive more information.
