There was something unusual about the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge that Samsung launched in Japan last year. The handsets didn't feature the company's logo on the front. We saw Samsung do this again with the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge in Japan, South Korea as well as China, and now it's ditching the logo once again for the Galaxy Note 7 in Japan. Press materials for this handset meant for customers in Japan show that the Galaxy Note 7 doesn't have a Samsung logo on the front and even on the back.
Samsung has not yet said anything about its decision to remove its logo from one of the best handsets it has ever created. It can't really be said for sure why Samsung would do something like this but it's bound to have solid reasoning for it. Japan may be the only market where the Galaxy Note 7 is released sans branding because there haven't been any reports yet of Samsung removing its logo from the new flagship in other markets. I think many will agree that the Galaxy Note 7 actually looks quite sleek without the corporate branding, what do you think?
