As expected, Samsung has today kicked off sales of the recently-announced Galaxy On8 in India. The handset is available to purchase exclusively via Flipkart and is included in the retailer's Big Billion Day 2016 — so you can currently pick one up in either Black, Gold or White for just Rs. 14,900 ($224). Once the offer expires, the price will be bumped up to Rs. 15,900 ($239).
Just in case you need a refresher of its specifications, the Galaxy On8 packs a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, a 5MP selfie shooter, and a 3,300mAh battery. It ships running the latest build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but is expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
