With Black Friday right around the corner, Samsung has today kicked off a great promotion on its reining flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7 edge, in Malaysia. As part of the deal, the first 5,000 customers to purchase the handset will receive a complimentary Gear VR.

What's particularly neat about this promotion is that the all-new Blue Coral color variant of the Galaxy S7 edge is also included, so if you've been holding out to get your hands on the colorway, which started life on the Galaxy Note 7, you'll be rewarded for your efforts with a free virtual reality headset.

It's worth noting that although the deal is valid from 18 November to 18 December, Samsung will likely sell out of the 5,000 Gear VR units it has available within the first couple of weeks — so if you're based in Malaysia and are interested in participating, best act fast.
