We had reported last week that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy C9 Pro in India on January 18, but the company has launched it a day earlier. The Galaxy C9 Pro is priced at INR 36,900 (approx. $541) in the country, and it will be available for pre-order from January 27. The smartphone would go on sale through retail channels by the second half of February. It will be available in black and gold colors in India. The company is also offering one-time screen replacement offer with the phone.
The Galaxy C9 Pro is big on multimedia features. It has a large 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, stereo speakers, a 16-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, and a 16-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture. It is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, a fingerprint scanner, and a large 4,000 mAh battery. It's a dual-SIM smartphone with dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
