If you cast your mind back to September 2016, you may recall that we exclusively revealed that Samsung is working two new devices as successors to its existing Galaxy C lineup — the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro. Since then, we've heard an awful lot about both handsets, but now the former has been spotted on the Geekbench online database, corroborating everything we learnt about its internals when it appeared on GFXBench three weeks ago.
For those in need of a refresher, the Galaxy C5 Pro sports a 5.2/5.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 16-megapixel front- and rear-facing camera and a variety of internal sensors, including a pedometer and barometer. It's also expected to ship running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as opposed to Android 7.0 Nougat and will, of course, be skinned with Samsung's Experience UI.
