T-Mobile has rolled out a new firmware update for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge. The minor updates weigh in at just under 130MB and bring the March security patch for these handsets. The carrier is rolling out firmware version N910TUVU2EQC1 and N915TUVU2DQC1 for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge respectively.
Aside from the “various system improvements” mentioned in the changelog, the update brings the March security patch which includes fixes for 73 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android OS as well as fixes for 12 vulnerabilities in Samsung's own software.
That's all there is to this firmware update for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge on T-Mobile. The carrier has started rolling it out and the update will soon be live for all of its users who own these devices.
Those who don't want to wait for the over-the-air update notification to arrive on their device can head over to the settings menu and manually download the update.
