Samsung has started distributing this month's security patch for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in Europe. As per the firm's Security Blog, the upgrade addresses a total of 49 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android OS and an additional 16 patches for the firm’s Galaxy-branded smartphones.
We should probably point out that the update is rolling out in stages and seeing as it has a lot of ground to cover, it could be a while before it arrives on your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge. If you'd like to see the OTA is ready, open up Settings, then select the relevant option from the Software Update subheading.
