We reported yesterday that T-Mobile might soon announce a Buy One Get One Free deal for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The carrier has made the official announcement today. Linking it with Mother's Day in the United States, the carrier is now allowing customers to buy one Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ and get the other one for free.
New and existing T-Mobile customers can purchase a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ on T-Mobile's installment plan and add a line. Both handsets have to be purchased on this plan. It's only after they've paid for both devices that T-Mobile is going to give them a prepaid card worth $750 to cover the cost of the second phone. Even if they opt for the Galaxy S8, they'll only get the $750 prepaid card.
T-Mobile is now selling the Samsung flagships in Midnight Black, Arctic Silver and Orchid Gray colors for $30 down and $30 per month for the Galaxy S8 or $130 down and $30 per month for the Galaxy S8+.
The carrier does point out that this is a limited time deal so customers who are interested in taking advantage of it can head to their local T-Mobile store or go online to buy one Galaxy S8 and get the other for free.
