Those who pre-ordered the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+  in India can now claim their free pre-order gift. Samsung had many offers for pre-order customers in various countries, and Indian customers get a free unit of Samsung's new convertible wireless fast charger for the S8 and S8+. Samsung is today sending out a message telling pre-order customers that the charger can now be redeemed.

If you had logged in to the My Galaxy app with the same phone number that you used for pre-ordering, you should see a banner ad in the app asking you to redeem the offer. If you click on this banner, you will get the option to get a coupon code. Hit the Get Coupon button to make the code show up. Then, go to the Samsung Shop listing of the wireless charger, add it to cart, then enter the code you generated in My Galaxy to convert the actual cost of the charger (Rs. 4,499) to 0. Once that's done, finish the order process by agreeing to Samsung's conditions for cash on delivery (there will be no card payment option, as the charger won't cost you anything).

Those who pre-ordered the phone in the initial couple of days are likely to get the notice first. If you haven't received an SMS or you don't see any notification in the My Galaxy app, don't panic. The offer should soon be enabled for you, and Samsung will notify you when it's ready. You have until June 30 to redeem the code, so make sure to keep checking from time
