It was only last week that Samsung announced its new Tizen smartphone. The company confirmed that it would start selling the Samsung Z4 in India from May 19. Samsung Z4 has gone on sale in the country today via offline retailers. It's unclear at this point in time when the handset is going to be sold via online retailers in India.
Customers who are interested in purchasing this device can buy it now for INR 5,790 which is approximately $90. Since it's meant to compete with low-end Android smartphones, don't expect much in the way of specifications.
The Samsung Z4 features a 4.5-inch WVGA LCD display with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor under the hood. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with microSD card support as well as 5-megapixel front and back cameras with LED flash.
Customers will like that it's a dual-SIM smartphone so they will be able to have two numbers active at the same time. It even has support for 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. The Samsung Z4 comes with a 2,050mAh battery.
It shouldn't be long before the handset is available for purchase from online retailers in India as well. If you can't make up your mind about whether or not you want to purchase it, don't worry, our detailed review of the Samsung Z4 will be up soon.
