Now that Samsung has got the Galaxy S8 out of the way, fans are looking forward to the company's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8. Despite last year's Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung has confirmed that it's going to release another Galaxy Note flagship. It hasn't confirmed much about the device so far, though.
There are plenty of rumors about the Galaxy Note 8. A recent leak suggested that the handset would have a bezel-less display, much like that of the Galaxy S8. It's even believed to have the same aspect ratio as the Galaxy S8's Infinity Display.
We have also heard countless rumors that the Galaxy Note 8 will be Samsung's first smartphone to feature a dual rear camera system. Even the Galaxy S8 was rumored to come with it but Samsung appears to have decided to launch the dual camera system with its next flagship smartphone.
Rumor has it that Samsung is going to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 officially in late August which would give it a strategic edge over the iPhone 8 that's due in September. Samsung has traditionally used the IFA stage to unveil new Galaxy Note handsets. IFA 2017 kicks off September 1 so perhaps Samsung might align the launch with this event yet again.
None of this has been officially confirmed by Samsung as yet so take it with a grain of salt.
