Samsung's first 10nm Exynos chipset, the Exynos 8895, was announced earlier this year, and it was used in the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+. Now, the company is working on two new Exynos chipsets that use 10nm FinFET fabrication technology. According to the information that has appeared on the Internet, Samsung could release the Exynos 7885 and the Exynos 9610 for its smartphones and tablets.

The Exynos 7885 is rumored to be a 10nm FinFET chipset with two ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cores (clocked at 2.1GHz) and four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores. It will also use an integrated LTE radio and Mali-G71 GPU, but the information regarding the number of GPU cores hasn't been revealed. The chipset could debut with the Galaxy A7 (2018).

The Exynos 9610 is a higher-end chipset based on Samsung's 10nm FinFET technology, and it features a 64-bit octa-core CPU. It is rumored to feature four ARM Cortex-A73 cores (clocked at 2.4GHz) and four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A53 cores. Even this chipset is rumored to use a Mali-G71 GPU and a fully integrated LTE modem. The company has already started working on 7nm process for its upcoming high-end chipsets.

Samsung manufactures 10nm Snapdragon 835 chipsets for Qualcomm, but the latter has reportedly decided to move to TSMC for 7nm Snapdragon 845. Apple's A10 and A11 chipsets, on the other hand, have been getting manufactured by TSMC, but it is being rumored that Samsung has recently convinced Apple to use its 7nm process for the A12 chipset.
