Samsung has unveiled a Galaxy Note 8 trade-in Malaysia campaign via its local website today. The campaign will enable customers to trade-in their existing handsets. They can put that trade-in value towards the purchase of a new Galaxy Note 8. Select handsets from Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo are eligible for trade-in.
The Galaxy Note 8 trade-in Malaysia campaign will run from September 21 to November 31, 2017 at participating outlets in the country. The value that customers get will be specified by Ingram Micro Malaysia. That value can then be used for the purchase of a Galaxy Note 8 within the same transaction.
The full list of eligible devices and their specified values can be accessed by clicking on the source link below. Customers who trade-in a Galaxy S8 Plus will receive RM 1,900 or $452. They can get RM 2,200 or $524 for an iPhone 7 Plus 256GB.
Samsung devices eligible for the Galaxy Note 8 trade-in Malaysia campaign include several handsets from the Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy A and Galaxy J lineups. In order to be eligible for trade-in, the device has to meet certain conditions.
The device should be able to power ON and OFF. It should be able to properly charge, read IMEI and use with all Malaysia Telco SIM card. It must have Wi-Fi connectivity and be able to make and receive calls. It should also be able to properly factory reset.
