Microsoft has started selling the Microsoft Edition of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on its online store in the United States. The handsets are priced at $724.99 and $824.99, respectively—but you'll be able to save an impressive $150 if you wait until Black Friday to pick one up.
Unlike the standard Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, the Microsoft Edition comes pre-loaded with a slew of the firm's productivity tools, including Cortana and its brand new Microsoft Launcher, which makes it easier than ever to access important documents and files.
For those unaware, the Galaxy S8 is near-identical to the Galaxy S8+ from both a design and internal perspective. It features the same Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 processor, 4/6GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ aren't identical, however
The two differ when it comes to battery life and screen size, however; the former sports a 5.8-inch Infinity Display (1,440 x 2,960 pixels) and a 3,000mAh battery, while the latter—our favorite of the two—touts a 6.2-inch Infinity Display (1,440 x 2,960 pixels) and a 3,500mAh cell.
