Now that you have picked up Samsung's latest flagship smartphone, many of you will be searching for the best microSD cards for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. Samsung's decision to eliminate the microSD card slot from the Galaxy S6 was not well received by the community so as we exclusively reported before the handset's launch, the Galaxy S7 series does let you externally expand the storage of your device.

Why you should use a microSD card on your Galaxy S7

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge can be purchased with up to 64GB of internal storage but that's nearly not enough for most customers. A big chunk of the storage is taken up by the operating system and apps so those who tend to have a lot of multimedia content on their phones certainly need more storage. It's particularly difficult for customers in markets where Samsung has decided to sell the 32GB model of this handset only. The Galaxy S7 series supports microSD cards of up to 200GB and that's going to be enough for a lot of users.
