T-Mobile has been rather late in releasing the Android Pie (One UI) update for the Galaxy Note 9. The carrier has only begun testing the Android Pie update for the device now. It is expected to roll out the update in the coming weeks, once testing is complete.

Sprint and AT&T have already rolled out the Android Pie update for the Galaxy Note 9. Verizon, meanwhile, remains mum on the matter.

T-Mobile Galaxy Note 9 will get Android Pie soon

T-Mobile's software update program consists of three stages: Development, Testing and Complete. Android Pie for the Galaxy Note 9 is currently in the testing stage. At this stage, the new software will go through tests to find and fix bugs and any final issues before it can be declared complete. Once the software is approved to be bug-free, it will be rolled out for consumers, so Galaxy Note 9 users on T-Mobile can expect the Android Pie update anytime soon.

T-Mobile has already released the update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+. The carrier has the Galaxy S8, S8+, S8 Active, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy J7 Star, and the Galaxy A6 currently listed under the development stage. Testing for these devices should begin once the update is released for the Galaxy Note 9.

Why this small One UI 7.0 change seems like a pretty big deal

As you may have probably heard several times before, the upcoming One UI 7.0 update will change many things about the look and feel of Samsung's proprietary Android skin. But oddly enough, in my eyes, one of the most significant changes One UI 7.0 is supposed to bring is rather inconspicuous. If some of the […]

One UI 7.0 will feel completely different even in early beta

Samsung might be taking its time launching the One UI 7.0 beta program, but it could be for the better. By all accounts, One UI 7 isn't just another incremental upgrade but almost like a reimagining of Samsung's proprietary skin for Android. The company better get it right, even if it comes at a time […]
