Last week, Samsung released the Android 14 update to the Galaxy S23 FE, but it was limited to a few countries. Now, the Android 14 update is available for the Galaxy S23 FE in India. It should expand to most other countries, including the ones in Europe, Latin America, and North America, very soon.
Galaxy S23 FE gets Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update in India
The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update is now available for the Galaxy S23 FE in India with firmware version S711BXXU1BWK9. It is a major update, and has a download size of around 2.7GB. So, make sure that you download it via a Wi-Fi network if you don't want to deplete your cellular data limits. The update includes the November 2023 security patch as well.
If you live in India and use a Galaxy S23 FE, you can now check for the Android 14 update. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database once it is available. After downloading the firmware file, you can flash it manually.
One UI 6.0 is a major update, and is based on Android 14. It brings several new features and design changes. There is a new Quick Panel layout, a new font, new emojis, and new placement and font options for the lock screen clock widget.
