Although upgrading from the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra to the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra might not be a good idea unless you can find a fair trade-in deal or have some money burning a hole in your pocket, there's no denying that the newer model supersedes its predecessor.
Recently, we spent a bit more time comparing the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra with the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra in a day-to-day usage scenario. We found five upgrades that are always worth keeping in mind when comparing these two laptop generations, and we're detailing each of these upgrades in a new video. You can check it out below.
How the Book 4 Ultra beats the older model
In short, and without spoiling too much of the video below, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is more powerful and energy-efficient, and it has a touchscreen and a sturdier hinge that prevents the touchscreen from wobbling as much as the Book 3 Ultra non-touch display does.
It also comes with a superior 140W charger instead of a 100W one, which is a pretty big deal if you want to max out your laptop's performance in demanding applications.
In addition, we also found that switching to a new laptop in this era is a lot easier than it used to be, all thanks to services like Windows Backup and Samsung Smart Switch, the latter of which is indeed available for the Galaxy Book lineup — not just Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
