Earlier this month, Samsung released the June 2022 security update to the international variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Now, the update has been released in the US.
The latest software update for the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra comes with firmware version G98xUSQU2FVF1. It brings the June 2022 security patch that fixes 66 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It also includes general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
You can download and install the latest security update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
The Galaxy S20 series was launched in early 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2 onboard. Samsung released the Android 11-based One UI 3 update to the phones in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update in late 2021.
