Carrier-locked Galaxy Z Flip 4 units in the US get November security update

Samsung has started rolling out the November 2023 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4's carrier-locked units in the US. Yesterday, the company released the new security update to the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 4 units in the country. The new security update brings fixes for several security flaws.

Galaxy Z Flip 4's carrier-locked version gets November 2023 security update in the US

The newest update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes bearing firmware version F721USQS3DWJ4. It is available on AT&T, DISH, and US Cellular networks in the US, and could be expanded to more carriers in the coming days. The update brings the November 2023 security patch that fixes 65 security flaws, according to Samsung's security bulletin.

While the new software doesn't bring any new features, you can expect to see dozens of new features with the upcoming Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update that could reach the phone before the end of this year.

If you have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 and live in the US, you can check for the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the newest firmware file appropriate for your device from our firmware database and flash it manually using the Odin tool on a computer that is running a Windows operating system.
