Samsung's May 2020 security patch rollout continues with two additional Galaxy models having been updated recently, namely the Galaxy A30 (SM-A305F) and Galaxy J8 (SM-J810F). The recent updates carry version numbers A305FDDS5BTE3 and J810FJXU4BTE2, respectively.
As far as the Galaxy A30 is concerned, the update brings the May 2020 security patch in Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Meanwhile, the Galaxy J8 is getting the update in Ukraine and Caucasus countries. The update for the Galaxy A30 should include only the May 2020 security patch. It was detailed a couple of weeks ago and it fixes various security flaws affecting Android OS and Samsung's software.
On the other hand, the J810FJXU4BTE2 build number for the Galaxy J8 suggests that new features may have been added with this new update alongside the May 2020 security patch. We don't have a changelog yet, but we'll keep you posted if we find out more. In the meantime, feel free to let us know if you've applied the update to your Galaxy J8 and noticed any new features.
